It is the dominant supplier in Utah, serving 947,246 residential customers, so its pricing effectively sets what the state average looks like. At 12.52¢ per kilowatt-hour it tracks the Utah average of 12.96¢ closely, which is what you would expect from a utility large enough to shape that average itself.

Consumption here is below the national norm at 758 kilowatt-hours a month against 871, which softens the effect of the rate on the final bill.
