It serves 469,499 residential customers, making it one of the larger utilities in Indiana. At 13.75¢ per kilowatt-hour it is one of the cheaper places to buy electricity in Indiana, 24.2% under the statewide average of 18.15¢.

Consumption is close to the national norm at 896 kilowatt-hours a month against 871, so the rate translates fairly directly into the bill.
