PacifiCorp electricity rates

It serves 74,170 residential customers in Idaho. At 12.11¢ per kilowatt-hour it tracks the Idaho average of 12.35¢ closely, which is what you would expect from a utility large enough to shape that average itself.

Consumption is close to the national norm at 899 kilowatt-hours a month against 871, so the rate translates fairly directly into the bill.

A shareholder-owned company whose rates are set by the state regulator, including an approved return on the capital it has invested. 3,350 residential customers had net-metered solar in 2024, totalling 28.47 megawatts. That works out to 45.2 installations per thousand customers, against a median of 8 across the utilities reporting it.
